Welcome to the official web pages of Flotilla 48, U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Our main tasks are to support the U.S. Coast Guard, and recreational boating safety. Our fellow members, both men and women, participate in regular patrols on the water and in the air as part of vessel or air  crews, vessel examiners, instructors, marine dealer visitors or radio watchstanders. All of them, regardless of their jobs, are members of Team Coast Guard, and they all help spread the word about our programs and boating safety.
There has never been a better, or more rewarding time, to become a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. If you are 17 or over, have a love of the water, a genuine desire to help your fellow boaters, and a few hours each month to volunteer your time and energies, we would like to talk with you about joining our ranks.
